FOLEY, Minn.--Anton Balder, 75, route 1, died Sunday. He was born June 13, 1889, in St. George Township, Benton County. He farmed in St. George Township all his life. He married Josephine Wybieralla May 23, 1936.
Mr. Balder is survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs. Merrill (Joan) Boyd, Rochester, Minn.; Mrs. Bernard (Margaret) McCole, Hinsdale, Ill.; and Anthony, Daniel, Annette and Michael of Foley. There are three grandchildren.
The following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Martha Dedrick, Cass Lake, Minn., and Robert, Felix, George and Mrs. John Kampa, Foley.
Funeral services will be held from the St. Lawrence Catholic church, Duelm, Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Val Klimek officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the Foley funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
