ALLSBORO, Ala. - Marceil Lindsey Twitty Bishop, 91, died Sunday, March 22, 2009, at the Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Allsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Allsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. J.B. Burns and the Rev. Dr. Scott Sealy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Parker (Larry) of Cherokee, Ala.; one son, Charles Bishop (Sarah) of Cherokee, Ala.; three sisters, Merle Englebert of Huntsville, Ala., Gene Stinson of Little Rock, Ark., and Ruth Ripley of Naples, Fla.; three grandchildren, Kathy Gann (Jeff) of Maud, Ala., Greg Bishop (Hollie) of Iuka and Jay Parker (April) of Sheffield, Ala.; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Odis Bishop; her parents, Clarence and Lyda Twitty; a sister, Hildred Haines; and a brother, Bradley Twitty.

Pallbearers will be Jay Parker, Melvin Pounders, Jeff Gann, Jeff Dover, Rheo Dover and Adam Tipton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Bishop, Keith Gann, Sonny Dover, Lynn Englebert, Charles Englebert, Marvin T. Dover, Joseph C. Dover, Clarence Englebert and Bill Twitty.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. to service time today at Allsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
