Adeline Martens Durant, 86, of Memphis, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 16, 2010. She was the wife of Kelly Durant,who preceded her in death in 1999, she leaves behind two daughters, Elizabeth (Betty) Wells of Memphis, son-in-law, Alan Wells; Lynn Plessinger of Cary, NC, son-in-law, Jim Plessinger; and four grandchildren, Rusty, Angela, Nate and Alana; and one great grandchild, Skye Elizabeth. She was a recent new member of Lindenwood Christian Church and a past member of Highland Heights Presbyterian Church. She had a wonderful team of Hospice Caregivers, Marty, Sylvia, Linda and LuAnn of Methodist Alliance that lovingly cared for her in her final days. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday, with services at 11 a.m., Monday. Both at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Methodist Healthcare Hospice of Memphis.
