71, of Sandhill Road in Irvine, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center after a long illness. She was born June 6, 1942, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Robert and Elsie Smithers Fielder.

She was a retired employee of Eastern Kentucky University and a member of the Sandhill Christian Church. She had lived in Estill County all of her life.

She is survived by: a daughter, Jennifer Lee Fielder, Irvine; a sister: Loraine Hendrix (Paul), Ashland; and three brothers: Tom Fielder (Yvonne), Lexington, Ed Fielder (Kay), Mt. Vernon; Gene Fielder (Roxanne), Ashland. Special nieces and nephews. Her cats; Pepper and Willow.

She was preceded in death by two sisters; Blondena Billings and Mavis Tate and one brother, Donald Fielder.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, at the Sandhill Christian Church by Bro. Matthew Vaught. Burial will be at the Sandhill Christian Church Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Warren F. Toler funeral home in Irvine.

Pallbearers: Michael Berry, Craig Berry, Jason Stacy, Kenneth Billings, Eddie Fielder, Jack Walling.
