Arthur Bracken, a 17 year old son of Mr. Robert Bracken, of this place, met with a painful accident ast (sic) Sunday evening about dusk. A pony he was riding slipped and fell on the boys right leg, breading (sic) both bones just above the ankle. The fractured limb was adjusted Monday morning by _______________ (unreadable) of Hardy.
