Hucie was the daughter of the late John Mann and Elvra Skaggs Mann. She served as an LPN at BARH for more than 25 years. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a 1936 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mason Darlington; and a daughter, Carolyn Sue Darlington. Survivors include a son, Ralph Darlington and wife, Tomi, of Beckley; three daughters, Shirley Peters and husband, Bill, of Glen Morgan, Ruby Akers and husband, Bernard "Koochie," of Beckley, and Patty Cannon of Ocala, Fla.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Rose and Quesenberry, Beckley.
