Yolanda "Yole" Longoria, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels at the age of 60.
Yolanda was born on November 13, 1952 in Skidmore, TX to Elliseo Y. Herrera and Ladislada Casarez. During most of her professional career, Yolanda was self-employed in the tax industry.
She was preceded in death by Rudy V. Garcia, Sr.; husband, Jose J. Longoria; brother, Sam Herrera; step-father, Edward F. Duran, Sr.
Survivors include her children, JoAnn Gallegos, Noel H. Garcia, Rudy Garcia, Jr., Janny R. Vasquez and Danielle A. Longoria; mother, Ladislada Garcia (Duran); brothers and sisters, Sylvia Herrera, Al Herrera, Sr., Ruben Herrera, Sr., Johnny Herrera, Sr., Lydia Herrera (Guerra), Sheve Herrera (Barrios), Ellis Herrera, II, Sherri Herrera, Rachel Herrera, Edward Duran, Jr. and Eva Duran; 13 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
