ALFRED CHRISTENSEN DIES IN ILLINOIS; FUNERAL HELD IN BLAIR FRIDAY
A onetime Blairite, Alfred Christensen, 47, died last Wednesday at Glen Ellyn, Ill., where he had resided a number of years.
The body was returned to Blair and services were held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Campbell Mortuary, burial following in Blair Cemetery.
Mr. Christensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Christensen, was born here Sept. 21, 1908. Since the death of his parents he had lived in Glen Ellyn.
Surviving him are four brothers, Harry Christensen of Florence, Pete and Leonard of Bennington and Andrew of Florida; and two sisters, Mrs. Christena Bottoms of Elmhurst, Ill., and Mrs. Blanche Kjeldsen of Glen Ellyn. There are several nephews and nieces.
