She was a retired Kentucky teacher having worked elementary level in the Boone County and Kenton County School Systems.
She was a longtime member of Lakeside Christian Church.
PREDECEASED BY:
Her husband, Alvin; and two sons: Don and Tim Shinkle.
SURVIVORS:
Two grandsons: Scott Shinkle of Greenland, NH and Mark Fox of Williamstown, KY; two sisters-in-law: Marie Burgess of Florence, KY and Irene Burt of Alta Loma, CA; five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services held Friday December 18, 2015 at Lakeside Christian Church at 11:30 AM.
