Services for Elsie Brantley Barfoot, age 85 of Dublin, will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, March 1, 2013 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Mark Byrd will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:30PM until funeral hour on Friday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
Mrs. Barfoot was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Franklin Brantley and the late Nina Mae Cook. In additional to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Mattie B. Weaver. She passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013.
Mrs. Barfoot's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Serenity Hospice, 510 Bellevue Ave, Dublin, GA 31021.
