John Callen was born around 1830-31 the son of Thomas and Mary Ann (Jackson) Callen. In 1860 he married Mary Ann Redick at which time they were living in Kellersburg, Armstrong Co, PA in the home of his mother.
The 1860 census says that John and Mary Ann were married within the year. By 1870 they had moved to Parker Twp, Butler Co, PA. John died sometime around 1888-1891. A niece believes they are buried in the Kelly Cemetery in Parker Twp, but no headstones, wills, or obituaries have been found to verify this.
