Michael Huffman died at his home in this city Monday evening September 18. He was born in Kentucky, February 10, 1826, moved with his parents to Brown, Ill., in 1834, where January 21, 1847, he married Miss Sarah Shelley from which union nine children- four boys and five girls- were born, six of whom survive him. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. F.N. Hager at the Methodist church and interment made in the Bloomington Cemetery.
