Lillian was the daughter of Charles Albert Welton and Charlotta "Lottie" Temple Fanjoy. She married Rev. Leroy F. Emery on 22 Sep. 1938 in St. John, St. John Co., NB.

EMERY, LILLIAN ETHEL (WELTON) - Lillian Ethel (Welton) Emery, age 87, died on Friday, July 12, 2002, at Bayview Special Care Home, Kars, NB. She was the wife of the late Rev. Leroy F. Emery, and daughter of the late Charles and Charlotta Welton. Lillian was born and grew up in Cumberland Bay, but moved to the United States when she and Leroy were married in 1938. They returned to New Brunswick upon retirement in 1972 and settled on the Belleisle. Lillian was an active member of the Kiersteadville United Baptist Church for twenty years. Lillian is survived by daughters; Bonilyn Kablesh of New Hampshire, Crystal Emery of South Carolina, Lynden Emery of Long Point, Sherol Grigerick, and husband James of North Carolina, and Adah Booth, and husband Donald of Connecticut. Also surviving are seven grandchildren Scott Kablesh, Kimberly Klett, Marshall Karas, Nadia Hoffman, Darrel Grigerick, Karrie Sousa, Kristin Grigerick, two great grandchildren Alex Klett, James Klett, several nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held from the Kiersteadville Baptist Church, 1160 Route 855, Kiersteadville, NB. at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, July 16, 2002, followed by interment in Bayview Cemetery, Hatfield Point. Donations may be made to the Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
