MR. WILLIS EDWARD "NOOK" HISE, age, 80 of Kensington died Friday, July 18, 2013. Willis was born on June 20, 1933 to the late Willis Parks Hise and Jean Roach Hise in the McLemore Cove Community on Hog Jowl Rd.
Also preceded in death by brothers, Bill and Charlie Hise, and daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Hise.
Willis was of the Baptist faith. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Nook spent his whole life on the family farm where he operated his dairy farm business for over 40 years. It was always said he was "born to farm". Up on retiring about 3 years ago he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and his special cat Jack. He spent a lot of time sharing his "farming" knowledge with family members.
In his early years he enjoyed playing baseball and coached little league games, served as an umpire for the volunteer baseball league and had an offer to try out for the Chattanooga Lookouts.
The family would like to thank the Solamar Life Choice Hospice.
