Mrs. Mary E. Barden, 92, formerly of Wausau, who lived in Kenosha with her son, Leslie, for the past four years, died Tuesday afternoon in St. Catherine's Hospital, Kenosha. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the Peterson Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St. Anne's Catholic Church. The Rev. Anthony W. Fischer will officiate, and burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A parish rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Born on Aug. 17, 1873, in Quebec, Canada, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew E. Murphy. She married Frank G. Barden in Wausau on Feb. 12, 1892. Mr. Barden died on May 8, 1950. Mrs. Barden was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church before she moved to Kenosha. She had lived in Wausau for over 70 years. Besides her son, Leslie, survivors include three other sons, Frank A., 1316 Torney Ave., Lawrence, Rockford, 111., and Jo seph, Racine; one daughter, Mrs. Bert Keefe, Madison; nine grand children and a number of great grandchildren.
