On October 31, 1765 in Granville, Massachusetts, Sarah married Enos Seward, son of Ebenezer and Dorothy (Rose) Seward. They were the parents of 10 children: Enos Jr., Eli, Amos, Gad, David, Levi, Sarah, Titus, Mary and Ebenezer, all born in Granville.
In 1793, Sarah and Enos moved to a farm in Huntington Twp. that was formerly owned by Sarah's father, who was killed in the Wyoming Valley by Indians in 1778. Sarah's sister Mary along with her two children [Pamelia Gibbons and William Davidson Gibbons] most likely accompanied them.
