Once, we were riding in the car and he was sitting in my lap. I had the window too far open and as we were making a turn, Spanky leaped out in the middle of a busy road everyone stopped. He was fine but his nose swelled up. He looked like one of the dogs on those greeting cards.
We rented a new house when we were expecting our daughter.Unfortunatly, the back yard fence didn't have a gate yet and he got out. When I opened the door to let him in, He was laying there.
He had been poisoned.
