Francis was my maternal grandmother's father & was affectionately known as "Pa." He was a very handsome man (I'll add a picture as soon as possible) & loved to give everyone nicknames. Francis met my maternal great~grandmother, Helen Marie, when she was working in a hat shop & it was love at first sight (he liked to call her "Chickie"). They married & had 3 children: Marie Helen (my grandmother), Grace Elaine, & John Randolph. I wish I could've met him, as he sounds like he was a lot of fun!
