JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Christopher A. Arbuckle 48, Jacksonville, died March 18, 2012, at his residence.

He was born May 16, 1963, in Elwood, and resided in Jacksonville, Fla. Christopher served his country in the United States Air Force.

He was a self-employed contractor.

He enjoyed music, writing poetry and working with computers.

Survivors include his five children, Anna Arbuckle and Bianca Arbuckle of Mount Home, Idaho, and Harrison Arbuckle, Grissom Arbuckle and Noah Arbuckle, all of Ohio; mother, Mardis (Heater) and Allen Knotts; father, Marshall and Michelle Arbuckle; sisters, Terri and Danny Strong, and Leeann and Dan O'Bryant; step-siblings, Steve Knotts, Mike Knotts and Wendy Knotts; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Coble Arbuckle; grandparents, Ralph and Martha Arbuckle, Julius and Martha Gerencser, and Dale and Lottie Heater; and stepfather, Joseph Van Allen.

There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at The Community Room at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.

Private burial of cremains will be in Knox Chapel Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
