Died in threshing accident in Millwood township.
Joseph Botz son of Jacob Botz, of Freeport, Minn., was killed instantly by a threshing machine Sept 12. The young man was putting the belt on the fly wheel while the engine was in motion and his clothing caught in the wheel, pulling his head in. The accident was horrible.

Botz, a Freeport farmer, was killed by

completely torn from his body and his
head was crushed. Botz was one of
the most prominent farmers in this vicinity.
