Survivors: daughters, Mrs Idell Westbrooks, Mrs Avery Stone, Thelma Phillips, Eulene Barksdale; sons, Billy Ray and Ellis Maddox; brothers, Henry, Lester, and Erby Brown; sisters, Irene Croft, Josie Pope; grandchildren. Burial in Beulah Cemetery.
