Allie grew up in Wayne County, Kentucky. She first married William Vickrey in 1895 and they had one son. William died in 1899. She married Cicero Bell on March 17, 1901 in Wayne County. They lived in Somerset, Kentucky; Urbana, Illinois; Oklahoma; and Ionia, Kansas before settling in Giltner, Nebraska. She was baptized in the Baptist church but had transferred her membership to the First Christian Church in Aurora where she was an active member. She was survived by her 5 sons and 1 step-son. 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren.
