WARREN RESIDENT CLAIMED BY DEATH
Mrs. Florence A. Bean 69, 28 years in Carbon County, passes Saturday.
Mrs. Florence A. Bean 69, wife of Maynard S. Bean and a resident of Carbon County for the last 28 years, died at the family ranch home near Warren, Saturday afternoon.
Funeral Services were conducted at Warren on Monday at 2:00 PM, Ralph E. Stiles, pastor of the Bridger Methodist Church, officiated. Interment was in the Bowler Cemetery. Members of the Cornelius Hedges Chapter of the O.E.S. at Bridger, of which Mrs. Bean was a member, took part in the services. Pallbearers were, A.W. Adams, J. W. Bent, R. C. Rule, N. J. Becker, W. L. Johnson and C. W. Fees.
Mrs. Bean was born at Glacia, Illinois, October 19, 1865, coming to Montana in 1885 with her parents, Mr. & Mrs. T.M. Gasaway. The family settled first in the Rosebud River Country. At Miles City on October 28, 1886, she married Mr. Bean, continuing to live on the Rosebud until 1905 when they moved to Bridger.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Bean leaves four sons, Russell Owen of Shelby, Thomas M. Bean of Bridger, Maynard S., J. Sylvester Bean of Warren; and two daughters, Mrs. Ethel V. Storm of Finch and Mrs. May Bowen of Porterville, California. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
