88 year old Helen Evins Adcock died Thursday of an extended illness. She lived most of her life in Smithville. Adcock was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ramond Adcock and son Ward Adcock. She is survived by her son, Ken Adcock and his wife, Kim Adcock of Jackson, Mississippi. A sister, Jo Doris Boles of Orlando, Florida. Five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association at P.O. Box 96011, Washington DC 20090-6011, or donor's choice. Visitation will be held at the Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville on Saturday, December 4th from 10:00 a.m. until noon with a graveside service to follow at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
