Russell "Keith" Allen, 89, of Flora, died Sat-June 29, 2013 at 11:55 a.m., at Clinton House in Frankfort.
He was born Jan 18, 1924 in Flora, to the late Chalmer & Mable Pullen Allen. His marriage was to Patricia Ann Pickering in Las Vegas, NV, on Apr 4, 1982, and she preceded him in death on Dec 7, 2006.
He was born and raised in Flora, then moved to Los Angeles, CA for 38 years, moving back to Flora in 1990. He was a 1942 graduate of Flora High School.
He was a WW II Veteran, in the Army, 11th Airborne, stationed in the South Pacific. He worked for 38 years for Virco Manufacturing-Los Angeles, retiring in 1990. He enjoyed all types of auto racing. Surviving: 3 stepsons; Steven & Sue Wilson of Minneapolis, MN; Doug & Marlene Wilson of Fishers; Russell K Wilson of Camden. 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Preceded by a stepdaughter Cindy; 2 sisters, 1 brother.
