Walter Q. Davis, 74, of 609 E. Spring, New Albany, former grocer, died Sunday afternoon at St. Edward's Hospital. He operated a grocery nearly half a century on Market just above Pearl. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jennie L. Davis; a son, Harold W. Davis, Louisville; a daughter, Mrs.J. T. Winn, Brooklyn, N.Y., and two grandchildren.
