Hoyt Eugene Adams, age 85, of Oneonta, AL passed away at his residence on June 28, 2013. Born in Etowah County, AL he was the son of the late Aldie Eugene and Laura Ethel Hill Adams. Preceding him in death also are wives, Ruby Jo Nix Adams and Jean Gilley Adams; sister, Geraldine Smith and brother, Marvin Amos Adams.
Mr. Adams served in the United States Army and retired from Conneaut Die Casting where he worked in foundry maintenance. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his 3 sons, 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, and a sister.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 1PM from the Chapel of Lemley Funeral Home. Mr. Adams will lie in state at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11AM until service time. Burial services will be held for Mr. Adams at Glenwood Cemetery in Ohio.
