ORA MAE ADKINS, 72, of New Castle, died Saturday. She was a member of New Castle Baptist Church and Fultondale Homemakers Club. Funeral was today, with burial in Bethel Methodist Cemetery, Gardendale Chapel directing. Survivors include two sons, Jerry Creel, Huntsville, and Billy Ray Creel, Shreveport, La.; two daughters, Mrs. Jean Sorenson, Pinson, and Mrs. Ellen Sullivan, Huntsville; four stepsons, Lewis Adkins, Sheffield, Glenn Adkins, Bradford, James Adkins, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Bill Adkins, Warrior, and three stepdaughters, Mrs. Irene Brooks and Mrs. Jean Bailey, both of Birmingham, and Mrs. Tressie Glass, Trafford.
