Margaret Ann Fletcher Lee died Sunday, April 21, 2013, in Jacksonville, FL. A native of Columbus, Ann graduated from S.D. Lee Senior High School as an Honor graduate. She attended Mississippi State College for Women for two years, where she was a member of Lantern and Torch Honor Societies. She also was in Miss Pohl's troupe of special dancers and participated in the school's Aquacade. She graduated from the University of MS with a Bachelor of Science degree. She was a member of Chi Omega Sorority and was chosen Miss University of Mississippi. She was also a member of the Committee of 100 and was elected a Campus Cutie. She was crowned Junior Auxiliary Pilgrimage Queen in 1956 at the JA Pageant Ball. For the past 26 years, Ann and her husband of 55 years, Frank Lee have resided in Jacksonville, FL. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother, who loved her Lord, her family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Frances Fletcher and her infant son, Christopher Lee. Ann is survived by her husband, Frank; her three sons, Tom Lee, Fletcher Lee and John Lee (Julie); her daughter, Emily Lee Holman (Kevin); her sister, Emily Fletcher Jones; and eight grandchildren, Trey, James, Max, Catherine, Rachel, Lee, Annabella and Camden. She is also survived by her niece, Frances Borland; and her great-niece, Caroline Borland. A memorial service was held April 27, 2013, at All Souls Anglican Church in Jacksonville. Family graveside services will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Friendship Cemetery with Father Henry Shelton officiating.
