B Cole & Gleason, Milton Home for Funerals, 5 Canton Ave., at Milton Village, on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours have been omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Milton Hospital.

Memorial services for Grace Van Sickle Abel, 83, of Milton, active in community affairs, will be held Tuesday at 1 at the J. B. Cole and Gleason Milton Home for Funerals.

Mrs. Abel, who served in the U.S. Army Nurses Corps during World War I, died Friday.

She was active in the East Congregational Church, Milton, where she was a long time participant in its Choir and Women's Society, the East Milton Garden Club, Neighborhood Club and Milton Women's Society.

The wife of the late Alexander J. Abel, she leaves a son, Alexander Abel, Jr. of Fairfield, Ct.; a daughter, Dorothy A. Rosebrook of Milton and a sister, Edna Van Sickle Budd of Chatham, N.J.
