MRS. HELEN COOK IS DEAD AT 84.
CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Helen Reed Crook, 84...former faculty member of Converse College died in a Charlotte hospital...Mrs. Cook was a native of New York City and served as a member of the Converse College Board of Trustees. She was a member of the American Association of University Women and a former Girl Scout Commissioner.
Mrs. Cook was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Charlotte and graduate of Converse Class of 1898. Her parents were the late Thomas and Mary Ellen Wood Reed. Her husband was the late Walker Reynolds Crook who died in 1956. Surviving is one daughter, Miss Mary Reed Crook, of Charlotte; one son Rev. James Reynolds Crook of Atlanta and five grandchildren....
Interment will be in Greenlawn Gardens.
