Shirley Marie Berry of Salem, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 6:41 pm in her residence at the age of 74 years, 2 months and 7 days. Born January 2, 1939 in Livonia, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Ermal and Blanch (Shipley) Lane. She married March 13, 1955 to Winfrey N. Perry, who passed away November 16, 1969. She married May 6, 1972 to William H. Berry, who survives. She was a dental assistant for Dr. Martin Kennedy for over 30 years, was a member of New Salem First Church of God and had been a life resident of Washington County. Survivors include: 3 Sons: Danny H. Perry of Knoxville, Tennessee, John F. Perry of Pekin and David L. Berry of Salem; 3 Daughters: Betty J. Nalley of Scottsburg, Cynthia L. Berry of Wauchula, Florida and Suzette L. Broady of Sellersburg; 2 Brothers: Jerry M. Lane of Dandridge Tennessee and Kenneth F. Lane of Haines City, Florida; 2 Sisters: Wanda McGuire of New Albany, Pauline Perdiew of Columbus, Ohio. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service: 11:00 am Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Lewis officiating.

Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Wednesday and after 9 am Thursday.

Interment at Beech Grove Cemetery near Salem.
