She was born in Los Angeles on March 26, 1935. She graduated from Ukiah Union High School, Ukiah, Ca., in 1953, and was married to Wiley Austin on Sept. 5, 1953, in Ukiah.
She pursued her college degree while raising two children and graduated with honors from Southern Adventist University in 1987 with a degree in long-term health care administration.
Alice was an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Collegedale, Tn.
Alice is survived by her husband of 57 years, Wiley Austin; her children, Dawn of Denver, Co., and Russell of Evansville, Tn.; her two sisters, Helen Bradley of Coos Bay, Or., Harriett Kelso, Clearwater, Fla.; a granddaughter, Danielle Davis of Chattanooga, and two great-grandchildren.
