MIAMI - Bernice Stribling, 96, died Sunday, May 23, 2004. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Miami Cemetery with the Rev. Tom Stribling, pastor of United Methodist Church of Happy, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Stribling had been a resident of Miami since 1914. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Miami. Survivors include a son, David B. Stribling of Pampa; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchild. The family suggests memorials be to American Legion Post No. 106, P.O. Box 478, Miami, TX 79059.
