Obituary: HUTCHINSON, Edward Miles, 75, of Oklahoma City died Dec 5, 1997. Born in Okla. City Jan 7, 1922 to Eva Jane Barber & Jesse Hutchinson. He served his country in W.W. II with the 88th Division, Btry C, 338th Field Artillery. He received the FAME service ribbon & three Bronze Service Stars, a Distinguished Unit Badge and Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged Nov 11, 1945. In 1948, he went to work for Harry K. Myers Construction Co. as a machine operator and truck driver. He retired from there in 1984 after 36 years. He was a member of the Edmond Historical Society and a past member of the 1889'ers. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Roberta Mae Hutchinson whom he married Sept 10, 1947; 3 children, Jo Ann, Judy & John; cousins Frank Hutchinson and Alice McCollom. Graveside service will be Monday 12/8/1977 at 2 p.m. at the family cemetery in Oklahoma City.
