Born April 19, 1947 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Clair and Marie Funt Ditzler.
Diane attended Bermudian Springs High School and graduated from Biglerville High School in the Class of 1965.
For many years she was employed at Davies Insurance Agency and later Musselman Insurance Agency in Gettysburg until her retirement in 1998.
She was a member of the Biglerville Historical Society, where she had served as a board member and of Bender's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Biglerville.
Diane enjoyed collecting Longaberger baskets, going to musicals and spending time with her granddaughter, Jenna.
In addition to her husband, Diane is survived by a daughter, Julie M. Barbour of Gettysburg; granddaughter, Jenna Walter of Gettysburg; and mother-in-law, Imogene Barbour of Gettysburg.
Funeral services will be held June 20, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Benders Evangelical Lutheran Church, Biglerville, with Rev. Susan McCarthy officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church the 20th from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
