Mrs. Beuna Mae Barton, 91, of Wilmot died Sunday, March 21, 1999, at Beverly Health Care in Wilmot. A native and life-long resident of Wilmot, she was a homemaker and member of the Wilmot Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and nursery attendant for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Barton, in 1983; her parents, Ed and Olga Crawley Franklin; three brothers, Alvin, Otis and Leslie Franklin; and a sister, Esther Franklin. Survivors are a brother, James Franklin of Wilmot; a niece, Renee Gourley of Wilmot; a nephew, Robert Franklin of Bastrop, LA; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, in the Wilmot Baptist Church with Revs. Harry Noble and Bobby Biggers officiating. Pallbearers were to be Chris Franklin Gardner, Justin Gourley, Ronald Pollock, Jeremiah Simms, Jerry Simms, Josh Owens and Trey Franklin. Burial was to follow services at the Wilmot Cemetery with arrangements by Jones Funeral Home of Hamburg. Memorials may be made to the Wilmot Baptist Church, P. O. Box 248, Wilmot, AR 71676.
