Earlene Ellis, age 52 of Campbellsburg, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at her residence. She was a professional commercial painter and a member of Franklinton Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Louise (Palmer) Ellis Sr. She is survived by four sisters: Pauline "Polly" Troxell, Eminence; Barbara Parks (Wendell), New Castle; Vickie O'Nan (Howard), Peasureville; and Linda Ellis, Campbellsburg; two brothers: Herbert Ellis, Jr., Lexington and Donald Ellis (LaDonna), Pleausureville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Bro. Jacky Newton, pastor of Franklinton Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in New Castle Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearer will be Judy Fallis. Pallbearers will be Corey Ellis, Joseph Parks, Brad O'Nan, Jerry LaRoche, Shane Kidwell and Brandon Holmes. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Franklinton Baptist Church Building Fund, 7681 Pt. Pleasant Rd, Pleasureville, KY 40057.
