Actress, Circus Entertainer. Appeared as a Munchkin in the 1939 classic "The Wizard of Oz." After starting in the circus business at age 17. Afterwards, she appeared in the Ringling Brothers' Barnum and Bailey Circus under the name of Princess Marguerite. She had 4 sibilings of normal stature. She was the daughter of William and Katie Lavoi Nickloy. While returning to New York after the filming of The Wizard, she was in an accident when the bus she was on collided with a gasoline truck. She was hospitalized for six weeks with a dislocated hip and shoulder. she returned to New York and left show business. She was married twice, once to a fellow midget and once to a man of normal stature. Cynthia passed away on April 29, 1961 in Gloversville, New York at the age of 58 years old. Cause of death is listed as Arterio Sclerotic Heart Disease and Chirrosis of the Liver. In 2005 a donated stone was to be placed and engraved, marking her grave.
