La Gynnea Lynne Lee departed this life on Sunday, June 2, 2013. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some small way throughout her memorable life. La Gynnea was born to Lawrence Walker Lee and Clara Bernice Turner on April 3, 1955. She was preceded in her death by both parents, along with her sister Wanda Estill. La Gynnea attended Rosedale High School in Kansas City, Kansas, and upon graduating High School; she worked various jobs in different career fields. In 1981, she started working for the United States Government holding different capacity jobs in the Treasury Department until she retired after thirty-one years of service in 2012. From her passion for fashion to her love for all of her family and friends, La Gynnea blessed all the lives she encountered. She loved to travel and watch her court television shows. La Gynnea Lynne Lee is survived by her four children: sons, Ronnelle Steward and Preston Willis and daughters, Paula Anna and Paris Anna; three brothers: Royce Turner (Ruth), Jeoffrye Lee (Ann), and Reggie Perry (Brenda); two sisters: Brenda Marshall and Angela Perry; seven grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends too numerous to name, but not forgotten. Memorial Services for La Gynnea will be held on Saturday, June 8th, 10:00 a.m. at St. James United Methodist Church, 5540 Wayne Ave. Family Hour will be 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at The Church. Private Disposition.
