WILSON R. BENNETT 68, of West Second Street died Monday at 12:50 pm at the Ottumwa Hospital. He was the son of GEORGE and MARY BLOODSWORTH WILSON BENNETT and was born July 30, 1880 in Davis County Iowa and has been a resident of Ottumwa for the past 51 years.
His marriage to EVA JORDON of Eddyville was August 05, 1904.
MR. BENNETT is survived by 5 Son's, CLARENCE,FLOYD, SAM and and **ROBERT BENNETT all of Ottumwa,Iowa and JAMES JORDON of Eddyville,Iowa; 8 grandchildren; 2 sisters MRS. JULIA DUNN and MRS. NANCY MILLHOUSE, both of Ottumwa,Iowa; and 2 brothers WALTER A. and ROBERT BENNETT of Ottumwa, Iowa.
Preceding him in death was his wife EVA on July 14, 1919; a daughter; 3 sisters and five brothers.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 PM at Johnson Funeral Home at Ottumwa. In charge of funeral is Rev. W.B. Friend of the Pentecostal Church. Burial will be in Myrick Cemetery near Chillicothe, Iowa.
Son of George, and Mary Bloodsworth Bennett; survived by 6 sons; Clarence, Floyd, Sam and Robert of Ottumwa; & Walter of Ottumwa.
