Mrs. Elizabeth "Lib" Hargett Featherstun, 93, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013.
Lib was born November 7, 1919, to Bessie Cole Hargett and James Abner Hargett.
She graduated from New Bern High School, and won the Miss New Bern Pageant in 1939.
Lib was an active member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where she was involved in the Children's Ministry for many years. She also retired from the Catalog Department in Montgomery Ward in the 1980's.
Lib was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Morris "Bloomy" Featherstun.
Graveside services will be 2:30 PM, Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Cedar Grove Extension with Dr. Scott Gleason and Dr. Jack Hinton officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.

Kenneth Chance and wife Ellen; Jim Jupin and wife Linda; Sue Callihan; Steve Eubanks; 12 great nieces and nephews; and 11 great great nieces and nephews.
