"Steve" was a 1966 graduate of Decatur Central HS in Indianapolis, Indiana and graduated from the Ball State University School; of Architecture (also in Indiana) in 1976.

Steve's professional life was based and focused on a thesis done while attending Ball State University along with the experiences he received while being a part of the Polyark program in England. While Steve worked on and designed about every type of structure during his lifetime he always jumped on the ones that dealt with people and their environments, solar, education and churches. During his professional career he always used paper and pencil rather than any kind of Computer Aided Drafting. He knew that the paper and pencil is what allowed his creativity to flow. Anybody can be taught to use a computer.

He is survived by his father, Truman Richardson; siblings, Dr. Lonnie (Mercedes) Richardson, Mark Vickers and Cherie (Keith) Leonhardt. Steve is also survived by 5 special nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Richardson.

Note: Services entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan.
