ELDORADO —
Michael Allen Talkington, 50, resident of Eldorado passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
Mike was born Feb. 18, 1963, in Watseka to Bill and Rae (Schriefer) Talkington of Eldorado. He married the former Janice Trousdale who survives. Mike was a concrete finisher and a member of Local Union No. 143 and was an entered apprentice of the Raleigh Masonic Lodge No. 128. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eldorado.
In addition to his parents and wife he is survived by a son, Tyler Talkington of Eldorado; a daughter, TeJay Talkington of Eldorado; paternal grandmother, Agnes Talkington of Eldorado; two brothers, Jim Talkington of Eldorado and Vince (Shannon) Talkington of Raleigh; nieces and nephews, Jimi Talkington, Elsie Talkington and Will Talkington. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Michael Talkington; maternal grandparents, Herman and Olive Schriefer; paternal grandfather, James "Pink" Talkington; and a nephew Kaleb Aaron Talkington.
