Mr. McClure graduated from Brackenridge High School and earned a bachelor of Arts Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University. In 1982, after an illustrious teaching career, Mr. McClure became the principal at Fredrick Douglas Elementary School. At that time, he was the youngest black principal (age 28) in San Antonio . He was a dedicated educator.
