Louis Bowman, a pioneer resident and highly respected citizen of Douglas county was found burned to death, together with his house, by Mr. Eugene Babcock Wednesday morning. Mr. Babcock was on his way to his pasture which joins the Bowman ranch when he discovered the horrible fate of the unfortunate man.
Mr. Bowman was alone on the ranch, his family living in Littleton, and no clue can be found as to how the accident occurred. The body was burned to a crisp. Coroner John Burk, of Castle Rock, held the inquest at Mr. David Cook’s ranch yesterday morning.
