Mathia Aamodt, 83, 701 Washington St, Kelso, died Dec. 27 in Longview. She was born May 21, 1884 in Gudbrandsdalen, Norway.

She had been a resident here for 17 years, and was a member of Lutheran Free Church at Barton, ND.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Thea Hall, Kelso, Mrs. Tillie Thornby, Minot, ND, Mrs. Helma Gillmore, Mrs. Anna Aamot, and Mrs. Nora Pruitt, all of Longview; a son, Melvin, Jamestown, ND; a brothers, Jorgen Lium, Rugby, ND; three sisters in Norway; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 am Saturday at Steel Funeral Chapel with Rev. Frank Ericksen officiating. Interment will be in Longview Memorial Park.
