Dorothy Ellen Bolch, 79, of Andrews passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Permian regional Medical Center in Andrews. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 PM at McNett Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday at Second Baptist Church in Andrews. Pastor Kevin Covington will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery. Dorothy was born April 13, 1934 in Haskell, Texas she married Robert Bolch September 1, 1953 in Plainview, Texas. They lived in Kermit for several years. They moved to Andrews in 1971. Dorothy enjoyed crochet and making Afghans. She was a wonderful cook and loved to make homemade Ice Cream. She enjoyed reading romance novels and had sack after sack full of them. She loved and adored her grandchildren. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and loved her Sunday school and Bible study classes. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2008 and her mother, Ellen Russell earlier this year. She is survived by her children Russell Bolch and wife Charlene of Andrews; Serena Cummins and her husband Gene of Midland; sisters Juanell Turner and husband Billy of Silverton, Texas; Linda Schaefer and husband Gary of Holliday, Texas; Suzanne Russell of Holliday; grandchildren, Chelsea Bolch; Anthony and Samantha Cummins.
