Mercedes Cervantes Our beloved daughter, Mercedes Cervantes, was called away by our Heavenly Father on May 31, 2005.

Mercedes Cervantes was a very popular young lady. She had so many goals in life. She was a cheerleader and basketball player at Fulmore Middle School. She was also a member of the school choir.

She is survived by her parents, Martha Cervantes and Robert Cervantes, great-grandmother, Filomena Torres, grandparents, Manuel Martinez, Louisa Torres, grandfather Robert Cervantes, brothers, Robert Cervantes and Angel Martinez, sisters, April, Alexis, Brianna, and Sandra, aunts, Linda Reyes and family, Melissa Martinez and family, Anita Gonzales and family, Margaret Davila and family, Uncle Able Garza, and many more aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Pallbearers are Uncles, Tim Hunt, Hector Reyes, and Abel Garza, brothers, Robert A. Cervantes and Angel Martinez, cousins, Timothy Hunt, Julius Reyes, Benny C. Sotelo, Efrain Torres, Javier Cervantes, and boyfriend, Michael De La Garza.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., June 6th, Mission Funeral Home. Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Mass on Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, burial to follow at Assumption cemetery.

We would like to give thanks to all of you who have been very supportive through this time of mourning. Special thanks to Michael De La Garza and family. Thanks to Virgil and Margie Nicholson, daughter Jackie Castaneda and staff, customer at the Office Lounge.
