Minnie (May) was born in Washington, D.C. to the Woodworth family. She married John Jacob Kindt and had two sons- John T. and Gilbert O. by him. She divorced John Kindt and married Emmert Wilson Gillham and had one daughter Jane. Minnie moved to California to help raise her son John's 7 children and passed away in Santa Ana California in 1978. Minnie or May to us kids, was full of fun, laughter, with many funny stories and sayings. She loved CocaCola and playing Gin Rummy whenever possible. All of the Kindt and Hammons children as well as her 3 children owe her a great deal of thanks. Job well done, May!
